Funny how that works. Funny, but not surprising.
I don't have a clue.

I'm guessing that might speak well of me. :)

Please note, this thread was brought back from the dead by a true coward. If he has NOT listened in one year, why does he even give a shit?

Small man, small mind.

Go ahead, call me out from your computer at work.

I can't imagine.
Compared to Steubenville, a trip to Welch is like visiting the Florida Keys.

Steubenville is the birthplace of Jimmy The Greek, internationally known card scam artist John Scarne, and underage porn star Traci Lords. How proud could a city be?

Only one subject on this forum that sparks so must activity and that is WKKX 1600am. Not sure why anyone would want to kill a subject so hot?

Nepitisum will kill WKKX. If you are not in the 'click' you will not get a job at WKKX. When you hire friends it's hard to let them go. This is why the Broadcast is still on the air. The only way the Broadcast will be taken off the air is when Sherrie McCutcheon quits or they move her to sales with her friend who got hired in sales six or so months ago.

With really no other local talk shows WKKX has no competition. This has or will hurt WKKX.

You haven't been around long. Numerous subjects have gone much, much longer.

And I'm pretty sure you're wanting "nepotism" and "clique."

It's a hard picture to figure out....it's like he's a Connecticut gay who's gotten really pissed off at some namecallers on the street while visiting Brooklyn.

I see that look many times. It's the same look WV coaches get when Ohio teams are beating the snot out of them in football. If he has a gun rack in his pick up, flying a rebel flag, he is a coach from southern WV. :)

I am deeply offended by the last remark, in fact I think we should open up a national dialouge about it...only then can the healing begin. I would like to call in the national mouthpiece for Southern West Virginians...

No, the "Hey Vern" guy is dead. I'm thinking.....George "Goober" Linsday. Any other ideas?

"Slick hair dangling across his forehead, and bathed in sweat, West delivered fiery sermons in what the resolution calls "unquestioning faith and religious fervor ... "

Brother West! I loved that guy. Started watching him for the unintended humor but came to truly like and respect him. RA seemed real, sincere, and a decent singer. I was sorry to learn that he passed away a few years ago. What was his son's name?

Back in a previous life in insurance claims investigation, I met Randy. His parents died in a house fire, and he had filed suit against the electrical company that had just rewired their home; truly sad affair, and he was a genuinely soft-spoken, humble and decent man in person. Very sad to hear of his passing.
