Results Radio... Great job! I told you at lunch last week you'd have enough room at the table for the hardware.
Congrats!

Let's not forget first-year entry:

Best Network Sports Play-by-Play - WRVC/ISP Sports - Marshall University Radio Network

I think it's RVC...I'm not sure. They may have thought it was W.V.R.C and that's why it won...right Dave?

:)

I was a little miffed when they reviewed to the tape of the acceptance speech decided to take the plaque back.

It was also sad because I didn't even get Miss West Virginia up there to show the sash had third letter "I" in West Virginia. Nor did I congratulate WVU on winning the "NT". Life's just full of missed-opportunities.

Also, Noel wants me to say that the new WV EAS plan is all my fault and that I am keeping him from his Saturday cartoons.

Hi to all the WVRC folks that I got to meet this weekend. It was great talking to ya'. From what I was told, WE enjoy EACH OTHER'S work.

Most likely to not get invited back next year for stealing silverware from the bar at the hotel: Dave Allen, Chris Lawrence, Erin Williamson, Cameron Smith and Bill Hicks.

What a table that was.

.
I think the judges (Kentucky broadcasters) thought WE were WRVC, and that's why they gave us the awards. Surely they know who you are, considering your location :)

I was going to thank my wife, but I was smart and dumped her before we shared nuptuals...wise move, because if I was with her, I wouldn't have this shiny plaque...
