The River comes in very good down here, of course having formerly worked there, I always like to keep up with what's going on with them. It always amazed me that even then with a station that powerful, when they were training me in 1991 the entire transmitter was operated with an on/off toggle switch..well at least the part the jocks needed to operate was.

The newer transmitters are more stable than the people tasked to operate them.

FM's (Batch 1)
1-Z-Rock
2-The Wolf
3-The Beat
4-Electric
5-Rock 105
6-X
7-KAZ

FM's (Batch 2)
Presets 1-4: V-100
4-7: KAZ

FM's Batch 3
A mishmash of Southern WV (Beckley/Bluefield/Princeton) stations for when I'm down in Mercer County or at Concord

AM's
1-4: 580
5, 6: 1490
7-880 (NYC)
But I think i'm gonna put 680 on there sometime (when I think of it)

Considering I generally (99.9% of the time) listen to CD's (until I finally get around to buying the cable that'll allow me to run my iPOD through the car head unit and all put phase out carrying CD's in my car)....it's very rare I actually listen to the radio proper (as the saying goes) unless i'm out of town....then I just HAVE to do the "surf and listen" routine that all radio people are contractually obligated to do.

There used to be someone under 30 not only working in AM, but doing his best to attract a younger demo towards it.
