If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

I put a question mark on it....

The info I've been able to get thus far... not WVRC, it's a new player that purchased Huntington, Parkersburg and Wheeling. 190 stations total being purchased by this group from Clear Channel.

Sad... I was hoping to see WVRC make it into Huntington.

it makes me wonder if this was his long term plan all along. as a big wig at CC he encouraged the buying of all these stations at inflated prices. then after they buy all these stations he leaves, takes a break while the company restructures everything to keep the overhead down on all these stations so they can eventually turn a slight profit, then realize that just because you have a lot of stations doesn't mean you'll make a mint with every single one of them, and decides to sell off a bunch of them at "bargin" prices. then Randy knocks on the door with a briefcase full of cash.... BRILLIANT!!!!!

just thinkin out loud here....

Nope. Looking like Dean Good at Goodradio is the winner. Details as I get them.

EDIT: Sorry... missed that two other threads had been started on this already.
