Is Connoisseur the new proud papa of WBVB?

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Is Connoisseur the new proud papa of WBVB?

Post by kentuckymedia »

Rumor has it that Connoisseur is working out some kind of Majic...(no pun intended) to pick up WBVB from the inner workings of Goodradio.TV. I thought it was a little early to hear things like this coming in already, but rumor says that they want the station badly!

That'll make them a part-owner of American Tower too!

Lotta' debt-load in this market.

I think you'll be mistaken on one of those.

There's another orphaned AM graveyarder that'll go instead.

you dont think it will be IRO?

I mean, yeah they could do a lot with WTCR. But it sure will be interesting to see how it pans out.

The name of the trust company they have set in place is called DEANRADIO.TV, how original.

This will round up Connoisseurs portfolio in the market pretty nicely, they will own the adult formats in town (meaning older than 25).

Forgot about WIRO, sorry.
This will level up the playing field in numbers anyway.
I still think AM stations are worthless.
AM is dead.
