why is a country song in the top 10?

does the fact that she is from american idol really carry that much weight?


im talking about carrie underwood's before he cheats

It is not a country song. At least not exclusively. Same song by a pop artist and it is a pop song.

When 304 said "carries some weight" and "Idol" in the same post I thought he must be talking about Kelly Clarkson.

The lyrical content sounds pretty country to me.

I couldn't imagine a pop song going into all of that detail of tearing up her cheating boyfriend's "pretty little supped-up four-wheel drive"...

it was a pretty country sounding song....


it was just very suprising for me to hear it on there.... it stuck out like a sore thumb from everything else
