Kelly Ann is an award winning Broadcast Meteorologist, anchoring the weather for the morning and afternoon shows at CBS 5 in Cheyenne, WY. She also co-anchors the news during the morning show and anchors a morning weather segment for NOCO 5, a sister station of KGWN located in Fort Collins, CO.

In June of 2013, she was awarded with the title of Best Weather Broadcaster in the state of Wyoming, by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters.

Her experience includes forecasting, producing, and anchoring the weather during the news shows. She has the ability and skill to forecast severe weather events. In addition, she has experience doing live shots and live interviews.

Before coming to CBS 5, Kelly Ann interned at MY9-News (a sister station of FOX-NY) in Secaucus, NJ. There, she acquired knowledge of newsroom tasks and of weather broadcasting systems. In addition, she had the opportunity to cover an event and obtain interviews for the station.

Kelly Ann graduated in 2011 with honors from Rutgers University and earned a degree in Meteorology. While at Rutgers, she gained experience broadcasting and producing the weather on the university's television channel. Furthermore, she was a member of the Rutgers Meteorology Club which is a chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS). With this club, she attended an AMS conference in Seattle and attended several lectures about the field of meteorology and climatology.

At a young age, Kelly Ann started Irish Dancing/ River Dancing and continued to do so for 10 years. Through this, she had the opportunity to perform in various theaters in the NYC tri-state area including several performances at Carnegie Hall, P-N-C Bank Arts Center, and a performance on a Broadway stage. Over the years, she grew a passion for performing, which has lead to her career choice in television.

Kelly Ann loves to know her viewers on a personal level. She can often be found at the YMCA socializing with the public, and at local schools reading to young children. In addition, she has visited several classrooms providing a kid-friendly lesson about meteorology and conducts experiments to help demonstrate various weather phenomenon. She has volunteered with the Habitat for Humanity, helping to build a home for a local needy family.
