To broadcast well less than two months, then fold without any explanation seems rather odd, even for an LPFM. Which begs the question...assuming it's a lack of finances, what would it take to keep one running? I'm assuming the owner would have to kick up most, if not all of the monies to keep it on. It's also a shame they eliminated their online presence.

A sudden health issue affecting the main person in some fashion is always a possibility.

Or a disagreement between the "Board of Directors" and the license holder.

Unable, and/or unwilling to comply with the residency requirements of:
73.853.

http://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/47/73.853

Two of the three board members were still residents of PA.

Also under 73.865, only one board member could be replaced, within the first 3 years.

http://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/47/73.865

So, if all three did not agree to live within 20 miles of the transmitter, or two of the three, with a new local board member, they had no choice but to cancel the CP.
