If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

LM getting a translator for WSCW

Post by Mr. Jones »

From Tom Taylor's email:
Lynn Martin is the latest buyer of translators from California-based non-com Radio 74 Internationale, shopping for translators to accompany his AM properties in Lexington, Kentucky and Charleston, West Virginia. The AM in the Bluegrass State is WLXG, “ESPN Sports Radio 1300.” Martin’s L.M. Communications is paying $32,000 to buy Greenfield, Indiana translator W296CU and truck it down to Lexington. It will appear there at 92.5. The West Virginia AM is talk “1410 the Light” WSCW Charleston. It’s betrothed to translator W287CB, which is moving from Cambridge City, Indiana to Charleston on the new frequency of 102.3. Price for that one is also $32,000. Broker for the buyer is Charlotte-based Lowell Homburger of Abernat, Roxben & Boggs.
