Not surprising to anyone after the sale of WDHC-FM in Berkeley Springs to Northern VA based Metro Radio the station has flipped from a locally based unique classic rock/oldies mix to a simulcast of co-owned Spanish A/C 730 AM WTNT. No word as to what has happened to the AM side WCST 1010. The FM signal barely makes it out of the town itself. And, the AM being a class D in that terrain is almost useless anymore. According to the 2010 census - Berkeley County has only 1 percent of a Hispanic population. What are they thinking? Not sure, but could this be the only Spanish language formatted station in the state?
