The state of radio

The state of radio
Like an impatient listener who endlessly turns the dial, the industry has been in a constant state of flux. Now corporate blunders and emerging technology add to the uncertainty.

Good article. John Gorman's book on the glory days of 'MMS could be excellent.

BTW, WKNR AM 850's 50kw-D reaches to about Ravenswood-Pomeroy, so give it a listen if/when you can. The new owners are doing a good job with it. Lively bunch, especially Munch. I've been expecting him to have an on-air heart attack for 20 years now.
