With help from a couple former employees I have now been able to add more information about WPKO.

Thank you. I had never heard of WPKO or WIBO (although I am familiar with the Pike County "X" stations (WXIC, WXIZ and WXZQ). I got a kick out of seeing those Tyrone Hemry photos too. I remember him as the unlucky gentleman who valiantly tried to keep WCAK (Catlettsburg KY) on the air back in the day.
