Question about WSSM in Havelock, NC

Post by Ace Purple »

I received a tip via e-mail that WSSM 105.1, licensed to Havelock, NC, had gone back to the "SAM Radio" Variety Hits format that aired from June 21, 2005 to November 1, 2007 on that signal. The format was dropped in favor of Adult Standards (as 105.1 The Coast) effective 11-1-2007, but the e-mail indicated that the owners of WSSM brought the SAM format back. Is there anyone in the North Carolina loop who can confirm or refute that information?
