WNXT 1260 off the air?

Post by Bar Rat »

Last three times I've driven through Porchmuff over the last week or so, I've heard nothing but static on 1260. Anyone hear about something going wrong there?

The SX5A bit the dust on the 7th.

A new XR6 is suppose to arive Wed. morning. Hope to be back on the air by nightfall.

On a related note, the 104.5 (K-Love?) translator is silent in Jackson, Ohio.
I noticed as I was passing through earlier today.
Is that one of your babies, contracteng?

:?
Translators are a Pox on the FM radio dial.

It's sounded like the old one had been on its last legs for a while. It faded out by Hanging Rock on 52 and close to Piketon on 23.

I don't know of any klove translater in Jackson on 104.5. There is a Postive Radio translator at 104.9.

My bad. 104.9 is correct. I don't think I heard that one either, come to think of it.

104.9 was off when I went through Jackson this morning. I notified corporate engineer and he was going to try to get to it today or tomorrow as he was coming over to Point Pleasant from VA today anyway.
