The contributions of WGOH/WUGO radio will be recognized during a Carter County Board of Education meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. today, celebrating the station’s 50th year of broadcasting.
WGOH/WUGO General Manager Francis Nash said corporate consolidation of many radio stations nationwide has resulted in less local coverage in many markets.
