Interesting quote in the article: "Listeners really don’t tune in to AM stations unless they’re looking for sports or talk radio."

The 820 AM license might be of interest to Salem, which already has religious 880 WRFD in the market. 820 AM might be a good spot for the financial talk format that the company has put on in a number of markets as of late. I wonder how much Ohio State is asking for the station?

WOSU has been sold to ... St Gabriel Radio (the folks LMAing / was to purchase) AM 1580 WVKO...
