Jesus' Grave Found

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Jesus' Grave Found

Post by genlock » Sun Feb 25, 2007 6:20 pm

Feb. 25, 2007 — New scientific evidence, including DNA analysis conducted at one of the world's foremost molecular genetics laboratories, as well as studies by leading scholars, suggests a 2,000-year-old Jerusalem tomb could have once held the remains of Jesus of Nazareth and his family.

The findings also suggest that Jesus and Mary Magdalene might have produced a son named Judah also known as Skip.

Where did they get DNA to match Jesus' DNA?

Kidding about Skip.

Had they read "Another Roadside Attraction" by Tom Robbins, they would have known that the Vatican keeps J-dude's body in a crypt beneath the Holy See in Rome, guarded by blind Ninja nuns.

They can compare some of it to Jesus' twin brother, Dick Clark.

Two very interesting statements from this article:
Israeli archaeologist Amos Kloner says the names marked on the coffins were very common at the time. "I don't accept the news that it was used by Jesus or his family," he told the BBC News website. "The documentary filmmakers are using it to sell their film."

Local residents said they were pleased with the attention the tomb has drawn. "It will mean our house prices will go up because Christians will want to live here," one woman said.
