Hard crashes and near misses in Charleston

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Hard crashes and near misses in Charleston

Post by CoolBreeze »

Check out this video of hard crashes and near misses on an icy I-64 bridge in Charleston, West Virginia. (March 17) Did you see this on the news?
( you may have to open it in IE instead of Firefox )

And why wasn't the road plowed? Why do we pay those high gas taxes in West Virginia? The DOH is clueless.

jesus let off the brakes you f-ing idiots....... 90% of those people just dont know how to drive you saw several people drive right through .. turn dodge and with no problems... and then you saw people AFTER the police have even shown up and you see that from 1/2 mile away or more coming off the bridge still locking the brakes up and recklessly sliding all over the place making people dodge them

and that is plowed..... its a bridge so its just going to be slick if the temp is under 20 degree's and its been wet before hand

Was it that bad Saturday morning? I always find it interesting how people think because they have a four wheel drive that can drive anywhere any time. I leave the house at 4:30 am lots of times before the salt trucks are out. I have a four wheel drive truck and I can tell you when you are dealing with ice nothing is perfect. In fact, one ice my wife's Camry is much better than my truck.
