Bob Huggins Goes To WVU

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Bob Huggins Goes To WVU

Post by Dave Allen »

Most media outlets are reporting Bob Huggins will be the new WVU coach. My question? Are there enough DUI checkpoints in Morgantown for both Huggins AND Tom McGhee?

I think Huggins is a much better coach then any coach we have ever had at WVU. Its weird that he just turned us down last year and now he jumps on the opp.

He needs to bring his recruits from K-state with him.
And work on Mayo and Patterson.

"Considered by many to be the top recruit in the nation, Michael Beasley expressed doubt Thursday to CBS SportsLine.com about whether he'll fulfill his commitment to Kansas State now that Bob Huggins has left for West Virginia."

Apparantly, KState isn't letting the guys who signed LOI's
out of it until they meet with their new coach....

Besides that, if he decided to follow Huggybear he'd have
to sit out a year.....

His track record suggests that his recruits will be talented and experienced at "acquiring" such items from locked homes should they be "needed."

Isn't that the refrain from college football and basketball coaches everywhere these days?

Huggins will have a more diffacult time recruiting since they moved the state pen from Moundsville to Mt Olive. There is still a regional jail in Morgantown tho.
