Football

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Football

Post by genlock »

This is a slow time of the year, without football to provide an interesting diversion. The NFL draft is scheduled for April 28-29 at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Oakland Raders, by virtue of the previous shitty season, has the right of the first pick. I will watch the specticle on ESPN and consume a 12 pack and a couple of pizzas like last year. Oakland looks to be trying to get a QB thru a trade. They need one. I have no point to make. I just miss football.

You, Genlock, are man after my own heart!!
I love NFL Draft day!! I watched 7 hours of the draft when Chad
Pennington went to the J E T S , JETS! JETS!JETS! And have
been hooked ever since.....

Thank God its Spring Practice for MU Football! I've been out there
almost every practice...including today's ass cold practice...but i was in
the cozy press box(which actually wasn't too cozy as the heat wasn't on)..
If you're in CTown they have a scrimmage tomorrow at noon...I think
WVUs Blue & Gold game is tomorrow up at the 'Hole but i"m not sure....

And there's always Arena Football...its not great but it will do....

I anticipate the Raiders drafting JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU.

Unless they can trade the pick for an established QB (somebody's backup).

..and by signing Wade Phillips to coach, my Cowboys took about five years off their progress.
Titties and beer...thank God almighty for titties and beer!
