Worst Current Shows On TV

By now you fuckers know my opinion of "American Idol", but what about others truly shitty shows on TV today? The question is what are the current, new shows on TV that you would say are the worst? Granted, since Papaw gets up at 3:30 I don't watch a hell of a lot of tv so I will leave this up to you..the worst shows on TV in 2007. My nominees..

The View.

Any newscast with Randy Yohe. I think he would make a great replacement for Rosie...he would give a more male er...."view" on the hot topics. Then he would get famous and that's when we'd see a Randy Yohe sex tape...

Any daytime soap.

Any "Maury" or "Jerry"-ish talk show.

Regis and Kelly.

In fact...most daytime TV sucks ass.

All day-time TV blows. About the only things worth watching are the cop shows on Spike and the History Channel.

In prime, I like War at Home. Lots of eye candy. Funny as hell, too.

I would like to see Ugly Betty pulled, along with ER. Man, that show is done.

1) Dirty Jobs

2) Deadlist Catch

3) Mythbusters

Thats about it. You could add pro-wrestling in the worst TV list. I have a hell of a time watching it now.

5. Cops -- the old shows where people rightfully got their ass thumped for trying to fight with the po-po. Find the old Kansas City, Cleveland, and New Jersey based shows -- that is the Real McCoy! The newer COPS shows are nothing but the California and Florida pretty-boy cops ("Now Sir ... Sir ... please, Sir ... don't force us to arrest you, Sir ..." ) doing a nationwide PR wax job for their police department.

I concur. Also note, the above programs have more in common than just the network they are on. Mike is one of the funniest guys on television and most times, he is not even trying to be funny.

Don't hate me, but Lost and C.S.I. are the only things we watch.

Sometimes we watch C.S.I.: Miami for the shots of Miami that rock in HD and to laugh at Caruso's stilted "acting."

Yes! David Caruso is the greatest overactor of our time! An accomplished chewer of lush tropical scenery. A regular Richard Burton, Junior. (What's with the standing-sideways-while-mumbling-profound-statements thing?) And ditto on the Miami scenery. Pardon the Hallburnism but I used to live in Miami.

The only other primetime network show I make an effort to watch is Boston Legal. Denny Crane.

Yes, the scenery! (But it's a lot more "cluttered" than what I remember...I, too, used to live down there. And, uh, that's where I met the King Of Miami...yeah, he was a swell guy and would never smack the queen.)

By the way, how do they capture that voice coming out of Caruso without the mic being in the shot everytime?

Mythbusters is getting dangerously close to straddling suck, imho. As if putting the "Mythterns" front and center wasn't bad enough, it's gone from being a genuinely entertaining show with genuinely interesting science content to "DUDE! What can we blow up NOW?" and as little science as possible.

Believe it or not, the BBC show it in the daytime with more science content put IN!
