NFL Draft

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

This Russell kid has the most incredible arm I have ever seen. Watching him throw the ball downfield while standing still without a dropback is amazing. I just watched a piece on ESPN Outside the Lines about him. They showed all his family and friends watching TV as he was being picked. Seems like a good kid. I found it interesting, though, that even though at the time of the filming of this piece he had not even been drafted yet, let alone signing a contract, and he was driving an Escalade and had on a diamond watch the size of a toaster.

Even though I'm a Bengals fan, been with 'em through the good times and bad, I've always liked the Raiders and I hope they can turn things around.

Russell is probably the best QB in the draft.

Detroit drafted yet ANOTHER WR...although Calvin Williams speed is just sick!

Um...so anyway back to the draft....I felt so sorry for poor ole Brady
Quinn...I started watching the draft at noon for at least 2 hours or so and
still nothing for Brady...hell the janitor was cleaning up the green room by the time he was picked(after I go back from being out for a couple of hours)

I wondered if he didn't go the first day if they would let him stay in the
green room all night! lol...
And how about the Heisman Trophy winner not being picked until last in the fifth round....poor guy...crazy...

You know...isn't it weird that Nunley's sex life is/was more interesting than the NFL Draft.

The Raiders choice makes sense. But then they trade Moss, one of the best receivers on the team. The best way to help a young QB is by surrounding him with great talent.

Moss must be stoked about going to a Super Bowl contendor from a lousy team with a rookie QB and a rookie coach. If only Moss deserved the great break...

His attitude stinks, but his talent deserves another decent shot at a SB ring.

All I know is that NE offense now looks unstoppable on paper...

And the Redskins have an appointment at Gillette Stadium for a 4:15 national game on 10/28...
