i found this picture on www.95wkaz.com and my first though... "he's holding something that's exploded into a thousand pieces. why does he look so proud of it?" obviously this is some sort of "score"... ?????? didn't realize it was supposed to look that way.

I think it's the radio auction and he's displaying it for potential bidders.
The box looks like it held a vintage Kalart 8mm projector. That might not be what's in the box.

There is a "bottle" - and the projector had a built in splicer/editor. Maybe it's just a bad angle on the projector.
