a good sales guy could still sell it.

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Houston (CBS Houston)- The Houston Astros keep breaking records for the wrong reasons.

This past Sunday according to Nielson ratings, the Astros and Indians game drew a rating of 0.0 in the greater Houston area.

ZERO-POINT-ZERO

The Houston Chronicle explains that it doesn’t necessarily mean that there wasn’t one person who tuned in, it just means that not a single, solitary Nielsen household tuned in to watch the Astros.

For the last two weeks, I would say anything higher than a 0.0 for a telecast of a Phillies game would have been a statistical error. Out in the "milk toast" suburbs, we gave up on the team by the All Star break. In town, they suffered a few weeks longer before reaching the same conclusion.
