Polling- Holgorsen vs Obama, RichRod

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Polling- Holgorsen vs Obama, RichRod

Post by genlock » Wed Sep 25, 2013 6:28 pm

Public Policy Polling questioned 1,110 West Virginia voters between last Thursday and Sunday.

Most of the poll was conducted before Maryland shut out West Virginia University 37-0 on Saturday in Baltimore. The results showed WVU Head Football Coach Dana Holgorsen had an 18 percent favorability rating. President Obama’s favorability is ten points higher, according to PPP.

In comparison, the last time Public Policy Polling asked about the late Bill Stewart, a former WVU Head Coach, his favorability rating was 35 percent. Current WVU Head Basketball Coach Bob Huggins has a 45 percent favorability rating.

The favorability rating of former WVU Head Football Coach Rich Rodriguez is at eleven percent.

It would be interesting to see Holgorsen's numbers now.

I'm surprised Obama is at even 28 percent.

In New Martinsville, the late Bill Stewart was king.

They must have polled only students on the WVU campus to get results that high for Obama.

The real number I want to see is the number of couches burned after the Oklahoma State game.
