This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Chemical spill Aftermath

Post by genlock »

At least four people have been hospitalized and several hundred thousand remain without water after a chemical leaked from a storage tank in West Virginia and into the public water treatment system, state authorities said Saturday.

Hundreds of residents called the West Virginia Poison Center to report concerns or symptoms related to the spill, including nausea, bad teeth, vomiting, mullets, dizziness, laziness, diarrhea, IQ loss, rashes and reddened skin, state health officials told Reuters.

I know that Tom Cooper, head of the OES in Tyler County reached out to our local CERT team about the possibility of going into a number of counties; as yet, no request has been made.
