Time Inc destined to repeat TimeWarner's past mistakes

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Time Inc destined to repeat TimeWarner's past mistakes

Post by cgarison »

It does not seem that long ago that I was making fun of the combination of (AOL)TimeWarner, yet now it is 2016 and we are looking at Time, Inc. purchasing (with a financial partner) controlling interest in The Purple Palace a.k.a. Yahoo! I am not sure if this deal is going to end well for either party as neither really have had extreme success in mixing the concepts of media and web while collecting appropriate adverting revenues to keep the lights on and servers spinning.
