Time to take that mint-condition "FM" movie soundtrack out of its dust cover.

I have one of those!

Well, maybe not "mint"....................

Actually, I might have worn that thing -- and its dust cover -- out.

Sweet!

I've converted albums over for folks before by connecting my turntable's line-out to the sound card line-in and using Cool Edit.

I don't suppose this thing is smart enough to be able to split the tracks automatically without having to make one long recording and then split them up. Is it?

Good if you want to trash your vinyl with a really cheap stylus that will eat the grooves (no counter weight to adjust the stylus tracking). I'd definately go with the Numark or just use a Technics 1200 with a mixer or pre-amp to the line-in jacks.

We're just going to trash it once.
Then it'll be zeros and ones.

Listening to processed Little River Band's Cool Change via Winamp...

AMEN! 630 tracks and counting!

The Numark solution is fine for someone that has no decent turntable and/or a crappy sound card. Otherwise, just get a pre-amp from RatShack and let 'er rip!
Aircheck? You'd make a great board op.
