Heard so far:

Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming

....and that's over computer noise!

Heard Wichita yesterday.....
"I don't know the same things you don't know."

"Yes, you do; you just won't admit it!"

"Yeeee...it looks like a 'Belt Buckle & Ball Cap' convention in here......"

I've received some weird ducting the past few days. I received some DC and Baltimore stations drifting in and out.

I even caught Power 105.1 from NYC.

All of this happened with thunderstorms nearby, with the signal briefly blasting in with every lightning strike.

I guess the cloud tops can cause some kind of weird signal reflection sometimes.

I wound up covering a business-sized envelope with frequencies, station names, formats, songs....anything that could help me identify what I was getting.

It wound up being just about everything up and down 25 in Colorado (Denver, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Loveland, Fort Collins) plus Fort Morgan and Yuma in NE Colorado.....also stations from Nebraska (Lincoln, North Platte, Scottsbluff), Wyoming (Cheyenne, Gillette, Laramie), and South Dakota (Rapid City, Spearfish).....

...and two one-offs -- one from Austin, Texas, and one from Butte, Montanna.....

Notes:

-- most frequencies had two stations battling it out (one from the north, one from the south)
-- this was one of those strong times when even some locals and virtually all nearby stations got blown out
-- the opening was at least 2.5 hours
-- in setting up a giveaway, one jock stated and then repeated "legal resident of the United States"
-- one of the smaller-town guys, reading a zip code or phone number, actually said "dash"
-- another smaller-town guy backsold a song by "Credence Clearwater REVEAL"
"I don't know the same things you don't know."

"Yes, you do; you just won't admit it!"

Obviously busy....

I looked at 4m and 2m but didn't see anything, though (FM broadcast is 3m, isn't it?)....

There has been a ton of co-channel monkey business on low band VHF TV out west where I work and play. I had at least a dozen viewers on antenna or cable calling in to complain about "other stations covering up their soap operas". I even saw some faint interference on an air monitor at the studio, only 12 miles from the tower.
