What are the chances, do you think, that regular TV turning off will usher in a new pirate revolution on the empty frequencies? Or is the internet just too easy for people to do that these days?
So sayeth His Royal Highness King Spike; greatest broadcasting talent of his generation.

Look for the "empty" channel spaces to be occupies by other services.

Two-way radio, broadband data, rf-id devices, all kinds of things that need to communicate from place to place and have not had the space to do it in.
When a pirate infringes on AT&T broadband, they will be blown out of the water.
No, they will keep to the analog FM band for now.
When FCC sees the sales figures for their masters digital equipment, then we will see the new FM band start to be talked about.
