Thanks for the link, Lester -- that is an interesting article. I hadn't heard about the tornado siren failure in Jackson, MS because of the copper theft, but that doesn't surprise me. When I managed a warehouse in Alabama that had copper pipe (for wastewater treatment), not only did I have the place protected by ADT, I also kept the copper hidden from view from customers coming in for other products. Out of sight, out of mind...
