Honestly, try to get through reading the obituaries (which we still do) with some of these nicknames. Some of my favorites include "Cheeseburger", "Lippy" and "Goo-Goo".

"corncob" if its the same guy..... is a musician of some local fame... i see him on flyers for shows all the time
