Kind of a misnomer, isn't it? Anyway. the sucessful applicant applicant as they say should have experience doing sports. He/she would be covering Greenbrier West football and basketball. My friend's company just bought this station.

How many stations are in that area?
There must be 50 would be sports guys at Marshall.
Most think they are dependable.

"Dependable," used in an ad for a sportscaster in mid-season, usually means the old one didn't show, showed in an altered state, or got caught doing something.

But it could just be one of those words people always throw in there.....you know, as if someone is going to disqualify him- or herself based on it.....

Actually from what I understand the other guy was just temporary and he took a job with the Redskins (not as player)
