I've tried finding these things, but every way I've thought to search for them has turned up way too many answers, wrong or dated answers, or no answers.
Can you recommend free software for AVI/DIVX/XVID editing (simple cut-and-join is fine) and/or a free AVI/DIVX player with an infinitely-variable playback speed control that doesn't change the pitch of the audio?
