Thanks for the kind words, but, the not-so-vailed comment about me "self-promoting" myself into anything is incorrect.
I'll say again. When I first got the e-mail, my first thought was the dread of the "self-promoting" comments more than the excitement of winning.
I value the degrees, certifications, and licenses I have achieved on my own more than anything that would put my name and face in public.
Now, I'm back in my little cubby-hole, but we're still on for that beer, right?
