Boy, is this a 'bad' deal for WVPBS
.
What they are buying....
A former 25KW station that has been on STA at 1KW near Williamson for 6 STAs.
May not now be on the air at all.
In a dispute with East Kentucky Broadcasting over proposed location on "Dan's Peak" in KY so it can go back to eff 25KW.
This site gives it even more KY coverage and less WV..
Can not be 25KW unless located in KY.
Will require mucho $$$ to do anything with it.

Why would they do this?

But then Mingo-Pike needs NPR ! :)
