WCMI: Six Months Later

Post by Mr. Jones »

What's the status of 1340, six months after it went silent due to that storm?

The tower has been fabricated and delivered. I figure OTA spring-ish if not earlier. Not one of those AM STA(Y) dark things. They need that extra $32.50 of revenue to keep that shaky business afloat. Where Coal Meets Iron, baby!

Transmitter road needs fixed after all the bad weather as they are unable to get trucks up to finish tower construction.

Sounds like they're back on the air now. Over the weekend, they had an unfortunate stretch where they played a 10-minute loop of PSAs over & over.

But they have returned to the national ESPN Radio feed.
