Harold Cooper no longer works as GM of Sinclair-owned Charleston, W.V. ABC and Fox affiliates WCHS and WVAH.

A station spokesperson told TVSpy Cooper resigned, but declined to comment.

Cooper was promoted from director of Sales at WCHS-WVAH to gm in December 2004. He started his career as a media buyer for Lowe/Marschalk and DDB/Needham in New York.

No new info on this. I found Harold to be a stand up guy and nice person. He was always loyal to his staff. Of course all GM's of corporate owned stations can only do so much. I wish him well.

"New West Virginia GM clears out news director" From NewsBlues.
Does this have anything to do with WCHS?
