I bought a radio today.

Post by genlock »

I bought a radio today and have listend to broadcasts most of the afternoon.
I now own a Hammarlund HQ-180 reciever.
I listened to Rush and now Hannity.
I didn't know WVHU was affiliated with Fox News Radio.
Local news was weak, sounded like they were struggling to read copy.
Had some ONN segments.
There are 17 tubes in theis big boatanchor. 38 lbs.

Sold the SP-600, bought more radio stuff.
SP-600 was heavier than HQ-180.
Was not very sensitive, but pretty.

Real radios break metatarsals when you drop them on your foot.
