Mikey B's Pet-Station Movin' Out

Post by Cameron »

WUGO, in it's attempt to hyper-serve Grayson, Kentucky, has an application on-file with the FCC to go to 6kw and move to Argillite, Kentucky.

That will take the City-of-License contour down to 88% from 100% - by their numbers.

Could a City-of-License change be next?

Can't go 6k as somewhat short spaced with WCYN?
More punch into Ashland/Huntington?
On a cell tower? From 111m to 98m and gaining 1200w. 1 Hop STL?

Hmmm.....
Maybe a new x-mitter. The CCA is tired.
The ERI rototiller went up with the new tower in '93. Maybe new antenna.
Retire the 8100? The CBS Volumax finally went out to pasture on AM.
Maybe a new board. The mono Gates Diplomat has served them well on AM and now FM.

Cameron...

FCC website now down, but we found some interesting stuff marked 1/19:

Apps. filed for WCLG (Morgantown) and WETZ-FM, among several hundred miscellaneous activity. Nothing in the CDBS, though.

Seen anything?

CDBS crashed several times on 1/16, 1/17, and was sluggish until the end of the week. It hasn't gurgled like this since the great translator invasion.

It will take weeks to hammer-out all of the activity and make it public-record.

Can't be that close. To get this, their app says they're 13km in the clear for 6kw.

If two A's are short-spaced they can both agree to go up to 6, so long as neither station is short-spaced to a 3rd station.

Example: WLGN, Logan Ohio, WCEF, Ripley, WV both on 98.3

No... he doesn't. (The database keeps those records... he hasn't been on in several weeks... actually... over a month.)

Someone emailed him when the board stopped working at 9:30, and it took him almost 3 hours to check and see what they were talking about. I'm guessing they have internet access in the Jedi locker room, where he was taking his Jedi shower, just before he hit the Jedi rack.

Not today, you wouldn't.

The bitterness you can see in her face has spread throughout her whole body. She's become one husky-voiced, unattractive, nasty wench.
"I don't know the same things you don't know."

"Yes, you do; you just won't admit it!"

Glad to hear!

Stop by and visit more often ...

And fix it so the spammers can't automatically sign up and clutter the board ... :x

That has already been fixed. They're signing up, but they're no longer getting automatic approval.
