Stunting Has Begun on 100.3 FM

I take back my I was just listening to the station and they are sending the gospel listeners down the dial to Spirit 92.9. This is a better move for the gospel listeners since they now have a live and local dj spinnnig the hits for them instead of the bland solid gospel feed. Any clue to what the new format will be starting July 4th for WAFD?

Hmmmmm - just a wild guess here but maybe some 24/7 satellite network from ABC, Jones or Dial Global ????

I tuned in shortly after midnight and the station is now being called "The Summit" with what appears to be the Rhythmic AC Movin' format.

Hey everyone, I wanted to invite you to take a listen to
The SUMMIT 100.3 WAFD. I have to tell you at first we
were rather apprehensive about dumping the Gospel
format which has been on the air since WAFD went on
the air. But it became very obvious after 4 months that
something had to be done.

At first we got the usual complaints from the loyal Gospel
listeners, but we directed them to WCWV and WOTR.
Now we're getting lots of great comments from our new
listeners who simply LOVE "The Summit"
