WKKX Vs. WWVA

Today WWVA scored a big blow by getting Drunk Guy from WKKX. Oddly enough he is related to one of the WKKX morning show talent. What a coup WWVA pulled to get Drunk Guy.

I would say up to this point it was even both shows trying to find their way. WKKX has a hill to climb now. With no Radio Graffiti and no Drunk Guy can WKKX turn it around before WWVA pulls away?

Although I'm sure it's somewhere in the realm of theoretical possibility, I really can't imagine such a thing.

Thats not actually true, if I am out of the station, he can use the bathroom without my permission, but only if its an emergency.

Personally, I would be happy with having two talk radio stations, since WWVA is more conservative while WKKX seems to be more in the liberal side. Keeps a firm balance and a different opinion on things (which I think we need in this Valley). Plus, a firm sense of competition now that WOMP-AM went to ESPN Radio.
