Heather, don't give up yet. Dave is on board for a date. I know he isn't Arp, but he has plenty of good qualities.

You complained about there only being five or six men posting in this thread. There is actually more than that, and most women would be happy to have five or six men chasing them.

Arp is out because he is looking for someone more feminine.

Loblaw is out for his personal reasons.

I'm wholly dedicated to Jessica Ralston, plus I'm way too busy servicing the wives of colleagues to add another, but you don't like me anyway.

Sure, that narrows the field a little, but there are still some good fish in this sea.

Don't give up just because Arp rejected you. I know he is your dream man and all, but that should be easy to get over and it should be easy to move on. You need to PM Dave and get something going there.
