Is Internet Radio in danger still...

Post by michael heath »

Is INTERNET RADIO still in danger? Cause if they jack up the Internet price for the internet radio it could force alot of internet radio stations across america.

I guess it depends on how one defines "danger."
Cause if they...

"They" who?
...jack up the Internet price....
I thought prices on the internet were generally lower!

Gotta watch the shipping, though!
...for the internet radio....
Ah, I've heard of that! It'll scare me silly if the price drops and becomes easy to use. I'll have to get a look at one of those. I have no idea when, though. I just went into one of the big-box retailers this afternoon and discovered it finally had a tabletop HD radio. All excited, I turned it on and went to a station that's doing HD.....nothing. Fortunately, it had an antenna. I stretched that thing out, turned it every which way, pulled it clear across an aisle and spread my arms out.....little symbol started to blink....RDS came in....and...nothing. Still not enough signal to bring the HD in. Oh, well. That's now three HD radios in that store, and not a single one of them is capable of demonstrating HD radio.
...it could force alot....
"alot" -- no such word.

Perhaps you mean "allot" or "a lot."
...of internet radio stations across america.
As has been asked, "to do what?"

And how, specifically, is this an Ohio-specific topic?

Gosh, that was all pretty unkind, wasn't it? Sorry.

Michael, as Lester has said on the NC board, your enthusiasm is much appreciated, but you kinda gotta stay on-topic for the section you're posting in here...and, yes, write better, too, if you will.

This section is specifically for Ohio and Ohio-related stuff. The WV section is technically the same, but, being the main section of the board, there's a little more leeway given for almost anything that might interest the broadcast community (includes TV) as a whole and/or the most casual readers of the board who don't bother to read any other section.

If in doubt, it's better to go to "Show Prep" with it. Unlike on the NC board, it sees plenty of activity (sometimes more than the "WV Broadcasting" section), so you're not "burying" a post in any way by putting it there.

Oh...one more thing: if a post doesn't fit in a particular section, we moderators are liable to move it to another one...as hinted above, it'll probably be "Show Prep." In some -- heck, many! -- cases, we'll just delete a new topic post if a thread about it exists in another section without explanation. No cruelty is intended...it's just that we probably don't have the time to locate the existing thread, link to it, and write an explanation every time. In other words, unless you know something is a brand new, "hot-off-the-presses" topic, make sure you've taken a look around before jumping in and posting it somewhere. And don't take offense if something "vanishes"....again, take a look around first.

as longs pepole can read it its all fine.
We can't. That's the problem.

I could tell. I am, too. I did little more than grunt when the cashier in the grocery store chatted with me...er, attempted to chat with me.
And you're right.

Dang skippy!

Of course!

As always!

(I also have trouble deciding what to say when I'm tired...and a little dehydrated. Did I mention I was a little dehydrated? No, I don't think I did. Well, I'm a little dehydrated. But I'm not near death like I was about a month ago, so don't worry.)

Okay, here's a great place to start!

"Thanks for getting to know me better, too!"

"To" is the preposition, "two" is the number, and "too" means "also."

There ya go....that would be a very helpful start! :D

Are you doing this on purpose or did you just arrive from another planet?
ther=there
borad=board
latly=lately
i=I
2=to
pepole=people

I would like to refer you to Dictionary.com and Merriam-Webster Online. You might find other sources by using Yahoo or Google, if you can spell them correctly.
