Steve Ring, primary news anchor at West Virginia Media's crappy little WVNS-59-CBS in Ghent, WV (Market #150), has been hired to anchor at Media General's WRBL-3-CBS in Columbus, GA (Market #128).

Steve's a great guy. I worked with him at WBOY in the early 90's and he is one of the nicest people I've ever known in this business. I hope things work out well for him.
