Okay. Here we go.Jay Nunley wrote:Thanks for giving me my cue. I still wasn't able to follow the thread.Cameron wrote: Nunley - this is the part where you chime-in about what an assbag I am.
Cameron is an assbag.
Wait, was I supposed to call Big Dawg an assbag there or was the Cameron thing right?
Dammit, I want a rewrite on this script or you can get somebody else to cut this crap. It just doesn't pop and it just doesn't flow.
What?
CAMERON, YOU SPELL MY NAME WITH AN A, NOT AN O. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF I SPELLED YOUR NAME CAMORON, HUH??? CA-MORON!!!! i BET YOU DON'T EVEN LIKE WALMART!!!!!
ps - sorry, Cameron. Nunley made me do it. He might end up being a moderator one day, and I can't afford to get on his bad side.

Uh...for future reference, which side is Nunley's bad side?
Skool, that's nice of you to come to my defense, but rumor and hearsay are more fun.
In an attempt to answer your Nunley question - my vote is the OUTside.
Remember, a day we don't talk about Nunley is another night he lays awake staring at the ceiling wondering what he could've done better.

Okay. I take it back. You're scum and you're the reason I no longer work with you. And you'll never be half the man Hallburn is.Cameron wrote:Skool, that's nice of you to come to my defense, but rumor and hearsay are more fun.
How's that?

It's really not paying to nominate yourself, but you must submit a fee with your entry. It's common practice, whether you're entering the Crystal awards, or WVBA, or any other radio or advertising awards.Zak Tyler wrote:ok, so what's this about having to pay to nominate yourself?????
sorry, i'm a little slow...... errr, today.... slow today. ya.

The 'network' thing does seem a little silly, since there is only one.
(not MSN and ISP for sports, but MetroNews)
BUT--BUT! I've always thought the WVBA awards was a good thing. I doubt that the problem lies so much in the folks on the air, it is probably apathy on the part of the station management that doesn't tell their staff it exists, or when it's coming up, and therefore they don't even know to put together an entry.
Dawg---does WV Radio "require" you guys to put an entry in, or just give you the info?
Here are last year's winners, listed on this board in April 2006:
Saturday night in Morgantown, the 3rd annual WVBA Awards were handed out. I jotted down the radio winners and thought I'd pass them along. I was "required" to make all of CHS's show and station entries a couple of years ago, but not "required" to be there to receive any of them. They loved me.Kitesgot wrote:Dawg---does WV Radio "require" you guys to put an entry in, or just give you the info?

Dude - I still love ya like a brother, and don't regret going to the mat for you a couple of times, but accept reality finally. A memo was in everyone's box, and posted, saying that anyone who wanted to attend the awards banquet was invited to do so, and that Mr Miller was footing the bill. I had to accept your award for you, because you chose not to come. That's the simple facts.SPIKE NESMITH! wrote:I was "required" to make all of CHS's show and station entries a couple of years ago, but not "required" to be there to receive any of them.
