Living in a porn-driven, 'look-at-me' culture
Porn used to be relegated to a video hidden in the bottom drawer, or a magazine under the mattress. Today, it's part of everyday life.

2 companies with large financial stakes in porn (specifically Vivid Video)
GM and Hilton Hotels. Spanktravision for Hilton but I'm not sure why with GM.

you know those movies where theres nothing but a smoke filled parking lot, and whoevers in the scene are goin at it on a vehicle??? GM prolly has sumthihn to do with that..... and hell moneys money, dont matter where you make it apparently as long as you do it "legally"......

GM owns Hughes Net (aka DirecTV). Obviously, DirecTV has PPV porn.

A Buick dealer in Akron wouldn't advertise on my show because I had porn stars as guests. The porn stars were of course, Vivid girls.

The same people who bitch and moan about porn are the same people who usually have a huge collection of porn and get caught molesting some 13 year old boy named Pablo who washes their car.

This country would be in alot better shape if there was no hang ups about a pair of tits.

Same with strip clubs....

Same with prostitution, it was around in the caveman days. The story goes some cavewoman thought of selling her body for some rocks..she was quoted as saying, "Oog Eech Ack!" Which is cave-speak for, "Fucking for rocks is so easy, a caveman could do it!"

It's long been known that GM and Hilton has and continue to make billions off of pron.

I've long wondered why the U.S. is just about the only country where it's ok to show people being brutally killed in prime time but would be absolutely horrified by seeing bare breasts in prime time...

For me personally, there's no contest. I think that violence is far more detrimental to society than nudity. In most TV shows with violent scenes, the characters committing the violence are rarely punished for their deeds. Many times, they are rewarded. When young children see this, the message they get is that violence can have its rewards.

And now we see violent crime dramatically increasing everywhere in the US. I think there is a direct correlation.

As for pron being everywhere, I don't think it matters too much for adults. But I am concerned with children being sexualized and having their innocence taken away at such young ages. It creates far more anxiety for them than they need.

But as long as pron is legal and in high demand, I can't fault companies for wanting to make a few dollars off of it.
