Arp, this just in..people in general are fake.

That's an interesting belief. I prefer to think that people are naturally protective of their public images without going all the way to thinking that people are fake.

Another interesting belief. I prefer to think that nobody should be doing that to anybody and that both/all parties bring (or, at least, should bring) real value to every interaction. Appreciate, excellent....bow or bend over, never.

Some people in her position think they are too good to deal with common folk.

Several interesting beliefs in there. I prefer to think that, at worst, people mentally evaluate the return on investment of the time spent with others and decide and act accordingly. The character and motives of the person(s) involved come into play, but, for the most part, I think people just don't want squander time and opportunity. Although I might feel slighted by an interaction that didn't go exactly as I had hoped, I don't create or assign some category to myself or the other person as a result.
