Marina Jurica joined the WSAZ News Channel 3 weather team in the fall of 2007. You can wake up to her forecasts Monday through Friday on WSAZ Sunrise.

Before coming to WSAZ, Marina worked at WLWT and WCPO in Cincinnati, WKYT in Lexington, KMIR in Palm Springs, and Channel One News in Los Angeles. Marina graduated from UCLA with degrees in journalism as well as music and then went back to school to get her degree in geosciences from Mississippi State. She is currently working on her masters degree from MSU. A die hard Bruin fan though, she looks forward to the UCLA/USC games every year.

Marina also has a great passion for musical theater and has performed in many local and national theater productions. She also enjoys traveling, skiing, surfing, sailing, white water rafting and just about anything that involves the water. She is a first generation American, both her parents were born in Croatia and goes to visit her family there whenever she gets a chance. A southern California native, summer is her favorite time of the year.

Marina is looking forward to making this area her new home, and living in a place with such diverse and exciting weather!
