Radio Pirate-----The Movie

Here's how this ends:

He takes his beat-up 1992 Grand-Am to the huge corporate offices after being invited in for a chat, after telling them, he would quit broadcasting if they hired him fulltime.

The company President says,

"well son, you gave us quite a scare for while there, Our ad revenues were starting to take a dive!....I'm glad you decided to join our team!" The President extends his hand to seal the deal.
The radio pirate thinks about the talks with his girlfriend he had, after practices at her small theatre group, and her dreams of a simple life, and volunteer work, and the scene flashes as to how he had told her he would never become a corporate puppet. Suddenly it dawns on him what is really important.

"no thanks-----you can stick your 50,000 watts up your ass!" (movie crowd will probably applaud at this point)

He turns and strides out of the office, with the Corporate President in a state of angry dis-belief, and walks outside to throngs of reporters asking for a statement, and as TV cameras roll, news helicopters fly over-head, his girlfriend makes her way through the crowd. He didn't have to say a word, his face said it all as they embrace, as the shot pans up and back revealing the corporate building, the throng of reporters shouting questions, TV trucks, satellite dishes, and two people holding each other. In the middle of it all, the young couple are locked in what seems to be a never ending embrace.
New camera shot from behind the crowd-----the engineer who found the pirate in the first place---watching events unfold, breaks into a huge smile, reaches into his pocket, takes out the check written to him from the huge corporation, dutifully rips it into pieces, and as the remnants of the check flutter to the pavement, he starts his van and slowly pulls away.

ROLL CREDITS!!!!

I think this is what some of you are hoping for......at least that's what I got out of this thread.

I have to admit, it's a lot more romantic and interesting than reality, where a Federal Marshall shows up, takes his toys, and leaves him a "You owe us 10-thousand bucks" note.

Of course I would be the liaison between the Pirate and the Corporation that gets the Pirate in to their "chambers" to have a "sensible meeting" in order to "hash this thing out".

My only question now is: can we get Eddie Deezen to play me?

That is, taking for granted that I would be overseeing the compiling of the soundtrack CD...

I would say we have Matthew McConahhey (sp--who cares?)-----to play the radio pirate. He never wears a shirt the entire movie. The movie opens with the standard: "TriStar" logo, and then "Stranglehold" begins playing.......Yes Scott-------that has to be on the sound-track....it's the perfect open.
